Conway, Ark. - After a historic 2023 season that saw Hendrix set a new program record for wins in a single season with 12, Coach
Jeff Trimble's side earned the right to host a first-round playoff match in the Southern Athletic Association (SAA) postseason tournament.
The Warriors will square off with Oglethorpe, whom they defeated 1-0 back on Oct. 15.
Hendrix enters the match as the #4 seed in the tournament. This will mark the first time the Warriors have hosted a first-round playoff match since hosting Sewanee in 2018, a match they won 4-1.
Warrior Soccer Field has been a fortress this season, as Hendrix is 7-1 when playing at home.
The Warriors have won their last six versus Oglethorpe, and are 10-1-1 against the Stormy Petrals since Hendrix joined the SAA.
Madison Lampkin will lead the line for Hendrix. She finished the regular season with 10 goals, the second-highest tally in the SAA this season.
Mackenzie Sinclair was not far behind after netting 7 goals in 2023.
Caton Nelson has kept three clean sheets this season, her last one coming against the Stormy Petrals. She ranks second in the conference with 45 saves in 12 games.
Kick-off is set for 11:00 AM on Saturday, Oct. 28 at Warrior Soccer Field.
