Box Score Conway, Ark. - The Hendrix Men's Tennis team opened its 2023 account with a sound 8-1 drubbing over in-state foe Ozarks.

Hendrix took 2 of 3 doubles contests, with Agustin Kalinowski/Cason Cole and Eric Meyne/Rowan McCollum securing the early wins.

The Warriors then swept the singles round with Kalinkowski (6-1, 6-0), Meyne (6-1, 6-1), and McCollum (6-4, 6-4) each winning in straight sets.

Cole, Elijah Pierce, and Matias Ancieta secured victories via third-set tiebreakers to finish off the Eagles.

Hendrix improves to 1-0 on the year and will welcome Dallas Baptist and John Brown (Ark.) to the Hatcher Tennis Center for matches on Friday, February 10.
