Conway, Ark.- Coming off a weekend where the Warriors went 0-1-1 in the Rhodes Classic, Hendrix will travel to Birmingham, AL to take on Birmingham-Southern.
Hendrix is coming off a 0-1-1 result this past weekend, getting a draw in their matchup with McMurry & dropping a loss to Stockton. In their matchup with McMurry, the Warriors struck early with a goal by Austin Pettigrew at the 10:29 mark in the first half. The Warriors would strike again with a goal by leading scorer Will Kelton at the 28:07 mark thanks to an assist by Jensen Pechar. But the Warriors would then give up three consecutive goals to the War Hawks, trailing by a score of 3-2. Jack Hamilton would then tie the game, with a goal at the 67:45 mark with an assist from Will Kelton. The Warriors recorded 9 shots, with 4 of them being on goal.
Their matchup with Stockton did not resemble the same offensive tempo as their match with McMurry, as the Warriors were blanked 3-0 to close out the Rhodes Classic. Stockton got the lead early on in the match and added two more in the first half to get the upper hand and ultimately win the match.
