Conway, Ark.- Jeff Trimble's Warriors host Millsaps College this weekend, after taking down Conway foe Central Baptist College Tuesday night by a score of 4-1. This weekend's game will be a Morgan's Message dedication game.
The Warriors have been firing on all cylinders this season, coming in with a record of 8-2 (1-0) and on a three game win streak. The Warriors return to Conway this weekend after taking down the Birmingham-Southern Panthers 3-1, thanks to a hat trick by Madison Lampkin. Lampkin currently leads not only the Warriors, but also the SAA in goals with 8. Lampkin also leads the SAA in game-winning goals (4), shots on goal (24) & points (18). Mackenzie Sinclair has been having a great start to the season as well, leading the Warriors in assists with 4. Sinclair's assists currently ranks 2nd in the SAA, while also ranking third in the SAA in points (12) & sixth in goals (4).
Millsaps
The Majors come into this matchup with a record of 1-6-2 (0-1), coming off a 1-1 draw against Huntingdon College. Millsaps have three players with a team leading 2 goals, including Freshman Alex Bremond, Sophomore Alex Dubrow & GS Mary Ranager. 5th Year Riley Ely leads the team in assists with 2. This will be the 12th matchup between the two, with the Warriors leading the series 9-1-1. The Warriors are currently on a 9 game win streak against the Majors, with last year's victory coming in a 1-0 win thanks to a late goal by Camy McKenzie.
