Conway, Ark. - Hendrix College has announced the hiring of Joseph Pendl as Assistant Coach of the men's lacrosse program.

Pendl comes to Conway from Trine University, where he was a four-year lacrosse player for the Thunder before serving as an assistant coach with his alma mater in 2023-24. He received his B.S. in Exercise Science from Trine with minors in Coaching, Psychology and Sports Psychology.

As a senior at Carmel High School in Indiana, Pendl was captain of his high school team  and was presented with the "High Octane" award by the team, which recognized his in-game influence, energetic nature, and vocal leadership.

Pendl will work primarily with the Warriors' defense.
