Box Score Conway, Ark. - Hendrix welcomed in-state foe Ozarks to the Hatcher Tennis Center on Saturday and received several clutch individual performances en route to a 6-3 win over the Eagles.
The Warriors took care of business in the doubles round by sweeping all three matches in dominant fashion.
Agustin Kalinowski, the Southern Athletic Association's reigning Player of the Year, began the singles matches with a convincing 6-1, 6-1 win the No. 1 singles spot.
After suffering a defeat at the No. 2 spot, all eyes turned to the No. 3 spot with
Elijah Pierce looking to clinch the dual match.
Pierce dropped the first set 7-5, but was able to mount a comeback and take the second set 7-6 (7-5) before winning the third set 10-3 to give the Warriors the win.
Santiago Perez was also victorious, taking the No. 4 spot in three sets to round out the 6-3 win.
Hendrix will remain home to host Dallas Baptist and Johh Brown next Friday at the Hatcher Tennis Center.
