Box Score Conway, Ark. - Hendrix dropped the final game of their weekend series with the #7 Berry Vikings in a 13-1 loss.
The Vikings put up an 8-spot in the top of the 1st to bring the run-rule into effect and tacked on five more over the next three innings to take a 13-0 lead.
Rylie Harris led off the home half of the 4th with a double down the left field line and was eventually brought in by an
Ashlynn Fowler one-out single for the Warriors' lone run of the afternoon.
Emma Salis recorded a scoreless frame in the top of the 5th to set up a potential rally, and
Betty Wolfe's two-out single put a runner in scoring position with Harris stepping back up to the plate, but the freshman flied out to centerfield to end the shortened contest.
Fowler (L, 1-6) was the pitcher of record after giving up eight runs on seven hits in 1/3 innings. Salis entered in relief and threw 4 2/3 innings, surrendering five runs on seven hits.
Harris led the Warriors with a 2-3 performance.
