Box Score Clarksville, Ark. - Hendrix earned its first road win of the season with a 2-0 victory over Ozarks on Monday night in Clarksville.

The result was an improvement over the teams' previous match-up, which resulted in a 1-1 draw in Conway back on Sept. 8.

Jensen Pechar bagged his fourth goal of the season to open up the scoring on 25 minutes. Just 12 minutes later, Clayton Somogyi opened his account for the 2024 with his first-career goal.

The Warriors held off Ozarks for the remainder of the match, with James Leone called into action 5 times to keep his second-consecutive clean sheet.

With the win, Hendrix improves to 2-3-2 on the year. They will take on Lyon at Warrior Soccer Field on Monday night before they enter into league play in the Southern Athletic Association (SAA).
