Suwanee, Ga. - For the second time in three weeks, Riley Brady has been named the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference's defensive player of the week.

Brady led Hendrix to a 62-53 win over Howard Payne on Friday evening, posting her third-straight 20-plus rebound performance and her fourth-consecutive double-double. The junior finished the night with 12 points and 25 rebounds. The 25 rebounds rank tied for fifth in league history, yet are just her second-highest total of the season through four games after 26 rebounds versus Arkansas Baptist two weeks ago.

Since Brady's return to volleyball season, the Warriors are 2-2 and have won their last two.

Right after being named SCAC defensive player of the week, Brady posted a 25 and 15 double-double in an exhibition against NCAA Division I Little Rock.

This is Brady's second SCAC player of the week selection after winning the award for her performance in matchweek 5.

The Warriors will return to action after Christmas as they head to Paragould to take on Crowley's Ridge on December 30.
