Memphis, Tenn. - The Hendrix women's track and field program had several impressive showings on Saturday afternoon at the Rhodes 7-Way Meet.
Anna Cantrell won the women's 1500m run with a time of 4.44.48, which vaults her up to second overall in the Southern Athletic Association (SAA).
Ella Williams placed 3rd overall in the women's 5k with a time of 18.28.92, which ranks 8th overall in the SAA.
Ember Hughes placed sixth overall in the 200m dash with a time of 26.96.
In the field, Bronwyn Adams placed 5th overall in Discus with a throw of 37.70 and finished 7th overall in the women's hammer with a throw of 38.76. She still currently holds the top spot in the conference in the discus.
The women's 4x400m relay team comprised of Ella Williams, Emily Jones, Sophie Sanders, and Anna Cantrell placed 4th overall with a time of 4.37.30 and they currently sit sixth overall in the conference.
The Warriors now have a week off to gear up for the SAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships on April 25-26 at Sewanee.
