Conway, Ark. - The Hendrix men's and women's swim and dive programs celebrated their seniors on Saturday at the Water Warriors' annual Senior Meet versus club teams representing Harding University.
The four seniors that were honored were:
Landon Hardister (Austin, Ark.)
Addi Heck (Tulsa, Okla.)
Aaron Nguyen (Memphis, Tenn.)
Cece Werth (Baton Rouge, La.)
The combined score between the men's and women's teams was 231-40, with both teams securing victories in the team rankings.
Owen Vennerholm and
Cece Werth both excelled in their individual events. Vennerholm won both the men's 200 free and the 100 backstroke. Werth anchored the 200 mixed relay and won both the 200 IM and the 100 free. Her 56.90 time in the 100 free marked a season-best for the senior.
On the boards,
AJ Windsor and
Emj Hubbard both won their diving events. Hubbard scored a 230.25 in the women's 1 meter dive, while Windsor scored a 252.31 in the men's 1 meter.
Hendrix will get a couple weeks off before returning to the pool. Their next meet is on January 31 as they head to Clarksville to compete in the Ozarks Tri-Meet featuring Ozarks and St. Thomas, which will serve as a final tuneup before the SCAC Championships in mid-February.
