CONWAY, Ark. (Jan. 28, 2026) - On Wednesday, the Southern Athletic Association released its 2026 preseason poll. Hendrix picked up 16 points in the polling to finish in sixth.

The voting was conducted among the league's seven head coaches.

The complete poll is as follows:
1. Sewanee - 41 (5)
T2. Centre - 34 (1)
T2. Rhodes - 34 (1)
4. Southwestern - 28
5. Berry - 23
6. Hendrix - 16
7. Oglethorpe - 13

The Warriors will open the season on February 7 as they head to Shreveport, Louisiana to take on Centenary College. The home opener will be on Thursday, March 12 when Hendrix hosts Spalding in Conway at Young-Wise Memorial Stadium.

The 2026 SAA Men's Lacrosse Championship is slated for April 30 - May 2 in Danville, Kentucky, hosted by Centre College.
