CONWAY, Ark. - Wesley McClure and James Thomson have been named the first SCAC Doubles Team of the Week of the 2025-26 season after an impressive showing last week to begin the spring season.

The duo went 2-0 against the No. 1 doubles pairings from NCAA Division II Harding (Ark.) and NAIA John Brown (Ark.). They dispatched of the Harding pair 7-6 (5-0) and dominated the John Brown pair 6-2.

This is the first weekly award for Thomson, a freshman from Texarkana, Texas. McClure won two weekly awards last year when Hendrix was with the Southern Athletic Association, and was also an All-SAA first team doubles selection as a freshman.
