Edinburgh, Ind. (April 12, 2026) – The Hendrix Warriors made the nine-hour trip up north to compete in the Timbergate Preview hosted by Spalding. The Warriors finished T-2nd for the tournament with a 36-hole score of 596 (296 + 300).
Oliver Naumann won the tournament, his second tournament win of the season, going -3 for 36 holes.
Naumann had a stellar Round One, shooting -3 for the day. Through the front nine, Naumann was +1, but birdied on 13 (Par 5) to move to E before birdieing the final three holes to go -3 and place 2
nd for the day, one stroke behind first. The second round started slow, with Naumann bogeying his first hole on 3, but moved to even after a birdie on 6. Naumann would finish the front nine E, but would go bridie-bogey-birdie to start the back nine before bogeying 15. Naumann would hold strong and par the remaining holes to finish -3 and move into 1
st. This is the second tournament Naumann has won this spring and the most in a season in the Division III era for men's golf.
Tyler Morton finished T9th, his second consecutive Top 10 tournament finish. Morton ended with six total birdies on his scorecard, including 4 in Round One.
Cole Jones had a solid tournament, finishing just outside the Top 25 with a T28th finish. Jones would have five birdies in this tournament.
William Baker also finished T28th, adding five birdies as well.
Michael Young had a great Round Two to move up 9 spots on the leaderboard to finish T39th. Young would finish Round Two going +5, adding two birdies to his scorecard.
George Murray competed as an individual and finished 51
st. Murray ended Round One +6 and had three total birdies for the tournament.
