SUWANEE, Ga. - Hendrix was picked to finish fourth in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Preseason Poll, the league office announded on Tuesday.
The Warriors were the highest ranked team to not receive a first-place vote, totaling 55 points in exclusive balloting among the league's nine head coaches.
Jeff Trimble's side is coming off a fourth-place regular season finish that culminated in a semi-final run in 2025. The Warriors went 4-4-2 in the SCAC during a 7-9-4 campaign in the program's first season back in the league since 2012 and earned a semi-final berth after a 3-0 win over St. Thomas (Texas) in the SCAC quarterfinals. Ava Puente, who was named to both the All-SCAC Second Team and SCAC All-Freshmen Team.
The Warriors kick off the 2026 season at home versus Southwest Baptist on September 1 before hitting the road for a pair of matches versus Belhaven and East Texas Baptist. League play in the SCAC opens up on October 4 as Hendrix hosts the University of Dallas for a 1:30 PM kick-off at Warrior Soccer Field.
