CONWAY - Christian Roberts has been named the SCAC Co-Defensive Player of the Week, the league office announced on Monday.

Roberts stood out in the Warriors' 36-27 road win over Millsaps in Jackson, totaling a career-high 18 tackles and 13 solo efforts. The sophomore also recorded 1.5 tackles for loss and forced two fumbles, the second of which came on a goal-line stand in the fourth quarter. With Millsaps' Quez Goss rushing towards the corner of the end-zone on 4th and Goal, Roberts flew over to make the tackle at the goal-line, not only preventing the score but also dislodging the ball.

This is the first SCAC Player of the Week honor for Roberts.

He and the Warriors remain on the road this week as they head to Sherman, Texas to take on Austin College in a non-conference contest. Kick-off is set for 1:00 PM at Apple Stadium.
