ScoresResultsCONWAY, Ark. - The Hendrix College swimming & diving teams defeated Bethel University and St. Gregroy's University in a trinagular meet at Bob Courtway Pool Saturday.
The Warrior men defeated SGU 85-62 and Bethel 90-49. The women beat SGU 146-29 and Bethel 123-45.
The women won six events and the men took four.
Hendrix Women's Highlights- Freshman
Haley Whitson won the 1,000 yard freestyle in 12:07.91 and was first in the 400 individual medley in 5:19.32.
- Senior
Sarah McHugh was second in the 200 free with a season-best mark of 2:18.44. She was also second in 6:14.43 in the 500 free.

Caroline Forbes, a senior, had a time of 26.73 seconds in the 50 freestyle to win the event. She also won the 100 free with a season-best mark of 57.99.
- Freshman Ploy Freebarin earned second place in 26.79 seconds in the 50 free and was second in the 100 free in 59.22.

Sydney Lacey took second in the 100 butterfly with a season-best time of 1:07.94
- Freshman
Christine Gozdalski finished the 100 backstroke in 1:05.78, good for second place.
- Freshman Eberley Yarborough won the 100 yard breaststroke with a season-best 1:18.03. Freshman
Journey Eubank was right behind in 1:18.58.
- The 400 yard freestyle relay team of Forbes,
Abby Schlenk, Freebairn and Gozdalski took first in 3:57.92
Hendrix Men's Highlights- Freshman
Andrew Fogg was second in the 200 freestyle with a season-best mark of 2:16.08

Eric Mullins took third in the 50 freestyle in 24.03 seconds and third in the 100 back in 1:06.10
- Sophomore
Brandon Cathey won the 400 IM in 4:53.80. He also won the 100 butterfly in 1:00.02
- Sophomore
Bailey Price won the 1-meter diving with a score of 165.90. Freshman
Liam Edwards was second in 143.15.
- Junior
Chris Griffin had a mark of 54.97 in the 100 freestyle, good for second. He was also fourth in the 100 breaststroke in 1:08.24.

Nicolas Maynard, Mullins and Cathey swam the 400 freestyle relay in 3:43.95, taking first.
Up NextHendrix will compete again on Nov. 20 at the Tiger Invitational in Southlake, Texas.
