ResultsCONWAY, Ark. - In their final meet before the Southern Athletic Association Championships in two weeks, Hendrix College and Rhodes College battled in swimming & diving action at Bob Courtway Pool Sunday afternoon.
The visiting Lynx women came out on top 190-62 and their men defeated the Warriors 167.5-75.5.
Hendrix' men won five events, while the women took three. The Warriors also set several personal and season bests in the duel.
Hendrix Men's Notes- Sophomore diver
Bailey Price won the 1-meter, 11-dives program with 268.40 points.

Brandon Cathey won the 500 freestyle in 5:13.65. He was fourth in the 200 freestyle in 1:55.52, a career-best time and was also fourth in the 50 freestyle in 24.02 seconds.
- Sophomore
Nicolas Maynard took second with a season-best mark of 1:06.77 in the 100 yard backstroke. He also placed sixth in the 100 freestyle with a career-best time of 55.95 seconds.
- Senior
Eric Mullins finished third in 2:26.85 in the 200 backstroke.
- Junior
Troy Koser won the 400 individual medley in 4:45.33 and tied for third with a season-best time of 1:00.64 in the 100 yard butterfly.
- Junior
Chris Griffin was fourth in the 100 breaststroke in 1:09.06 and fifth in the 200 of the same discipline in 2:34.74. He was first among point scorers in the 200 individual medley in 2:24.85.
- The 400 yard medley relay team of Koser, Griffin, Cathey and Mullins placed third with a season-best mark of 4:00.07.

Hendrix Women's Notes- Freshman
Journey Eubank won the 100 breaststroke in 1:18.37. She also placed third in the 200 breaststroke in 2:52.22.

Abby Schlenk won the 400 yard IM in 5:26.39, a season-best mark.
- Freshman
Emily Horelica took second in the 1,650 yard freestyle with a time of 20:44.53.
- Senior
Sarah McHugh was sixth in the 200 backstroke in 2:31.52 and finished sixth with a time of 1:10.71 in the 100 yard backstroke.
- Sophomore Syndey Lacey placed seventh in the 200 freestyle with a career-best mark of 2:11.46.
- Freshman
Christine Gozdalski was eighth in the 50 yard free in 27.45 seconds. She was also seventh in the 100 freestyle in 59.28 seconds and was first among point scorers with a time of 2:27.38 in the 200 IM.
- Senior
Caroline Forbes finished 10th in 1:11.66 in the 100 yard butterfly.
- The 400 medley relay squad of Gozdalski, Schlenk, Lacey and Forbes took fourth in 4:37.06.

Haley Whitson, McHugh, Forbes and Eberle Yarbrough were first in the 400 free relay in 4:12.73.
Up NextHendrix will compete in the SAA Championships in Birmingham, Ala. beginning Feb. 10.
