Box Score ROME, GA. - Following a history-making evening Friday that saw Hendrix clinch its first-ever Southern Athletic Association home playoff game following a 2-0 victory over Oglethorpe, the Warriors looked to stay atop the SAA standings with a showdown in Rome, GA against Berry. Following a scoreless first half, the Vikings managed to score a pair of goals in the final 15 minutes of regulation to give Hendrix a 2-0 loss that also bumped them from the No. 2 place in the SAA 2018 Women's Soccer standings. With the loss, the Warriors fall to a No. 3 place in the SAA standings with a pivotal showdown against Rhodes looming Saturday on Senior Day.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- After going into the break knotted up at 0-0, the Vikings came out of the locker room with a lot more offensive firepower for the remainder of the game.
- Berry took the 1-0 lead in the 75th minute.
- The Vikings added another score just over four minutes later to take a commanding 2-0 advantage with just over 10 minutes to play.

I felt like we played good soccer in the first half," stated Head Coach
Jeff Trimble. "We certainly didn't bring the energy into the second half like we needed to. Give Berry credit, they worked hard and played very consistent and they really picked up their game in the second half."

Now that the Warriors have finished all of its SAA road contests, Hendrix returns to Conway for a pivotal showdown against the Lynx of Rhodes Saturday at 3:30 p.m in a game that will also serve as Senior Day. The winner of the match could earn a 2-seed while the loser could fall all the way down to a 4-seed for the SAA Tournament in two weeks. Hendrix has clinched a home SAA playoff match for the first round of the tournament for the first time in program history.
