ELSAH, Ill. - Hendrix, from start to finish, completely dominated five other schools Friday when the Warriors took part in the Sprint Invite in Elsah, Ill. Sophomore Angelique Longobardi recorded a 27.81 time to set the new school record in the Women 50 Yard Butterfly. The Warriors' men's team won the day after carving up 360 points, five points more than the second-place Maryville University while the women's team finished with 409 points, 148 points more than the second-place Maryville University team.

WHAT WAS SAID
"It was an amazing effort from everyone and I am happy with the speed displayed at this time of the season," stated a happy Head Coach Tony Marleneanu. "We are still training hard and it was a long ride up here but that didn't stopped us from racing hard. It was a great performance all across the board and it was nice to see my team showing great team spirit and having fun especially with swimming shorter events. Two well-deserved wins!"

The Warriors will remain in Elsah, Ill. as Hendrix will take part in the Panther Invite Saturday before coming back to Conway to prepare for the 2019 SAA Swimming & Diving Championships in Birmingham, Ala.
