Men's Swimming & Diving Keith Kelley

Swimming & Diving Continue Winning Ways; Sweep Millsaps Saturday

CONWAY, Ark. - Hendrix men's and women's swimming & diving hosted Millsaps Saturday in a dual meet that was also known as Hendrix's senior meet. Both teams recorded first-place finishes Saturday in the final meet of the 2019-20 season. The men's team recorded 124 points while the women's team recorded 146. Out of the 24 events Saturday, Hendrix won 20 of those. With this being the final meet of the regular season, the Warriors will look to battle in the SAA Championships from Birmingham, Ala. in two weeks.

"I am super proud of my team," stated head coach Tony Marleneanu. "We are working hard to get ready for conference, so everyone was really tired. However, we did really great and I am excited to see them race at their maximum capability in two weeks. I would like to congratulate my seniors for leading the team this season. They all did great today! You will be missed!"

UP NEXT
Both teams will gear up for the 2020 SAA Swimming & Diving Championships which will take place in Birmingham, Ala. The postseason event is set to begin Feb. 12 and is schedule to end Feb. 15.
