Conway, Ark. - The Hendrix swim and dive programs racked up big performances over the three-day Mid-Season Invitational at Bob Courtway Pool. The Water Warriors competed against fellow SCAC programs Centenary and Ozarks, with the men finishing first with a total of 1,223 points, while the women took home second with 587 points.

Nick Allen posted wins in the 50 free (22.41), the 100 free (48.44) and the 200 free (1:47.79), and finished second in the 500 free (5:03.61). He helped lead Hendrix to wins in the 800 free relay, the 400 free, 200 free, and the 400 IM.

Sydney Chandler secured second-place finishes in the 400 IM, 100 breaststroke, and the 200 breaststroke, while placing third in the 200 IM. Chandler was the second leg of the 800 free, 400 free, and 200 free relay teams that placed first.

James Cotham took home first in the 500 free (4:49.27) and 200 IM (2:02.00), and finished second in the 200 back. He led off 1650 free and the 400 yard relay teams that finished first, and was the second leg of the first-place 800 free relay team.

Owen Vennerholm put together one of the most complete meets for the program to date, setting personal bests in every event he swam in: the 50 free, 200 free, 200 IM, 200 back, and the 100 back. The junior swept the backstrokes, taking first place in both the 100 back (53.84) and dropped 17 seconds off his previous season best in the 200 back (1:58.00), and finished just shy of a 5 year-old school record.
- Cece Werth dominated the 100 butterfly with a 1:00.80 time, which beat her previous best by 3.22 seconds. Her time was just 1.41 seconds off the school record set in 2019, and placed her among the fastest flyers in program history. In total, Werth recorded eight top-two finishes and won five events.

Emj Hubbard delivered the best diving performance the Hendrix program has seen in decades. She nearly qualified her 11-dive list for Regionals and posted a personal-best score of 389.85, which is just over 23 points off of the school record set in 2006. Hubbard also smashed her 3-meter best with a 450.70 to cap off a historic meet.

AJ Windsor was just four points off of a 40 year-old school record, winning both the 1-meter and 3-meter dives. He posted a 245.00 in the 1-meter and a 227.45 in the 3-meter.
