CONWAY - After Hendrix's 44-6 demolition of Austin College on Saturday, Jake Blice, Clay Brandenburg, and the Hendrix defense, spearheaded by Dentravius Woods, all earned SCAC Player of the Week honors, the league office announced on Monday.

Blice put the game beyond doubt before halftime with his first-half performance on Saturday, tossing for 307 yards and 5 touchdowns in his lone half of play. The junior went 14-of-18 and ended the afternoon with a 77.8% completion percentage while averaging 17.1 yards per attempt.

Brandenburg picked up his first SCAC Player of the Week honor after a perfect performance against the 'Roos. The senior went 5-for-5 on PATs and converted on his field goal attempt from 37 hards out. He also posted three touchbacks on the afternoon.

Defensively, Dentravius Woods earned the singular honor as Player of the Week, while the entire Hendrix defense was also recognized for their outstanding team performance on Saturday. Woods anchored a Warriors defense that surrendered just 266 total yards and 10 first downs all afternoon. Woods individually had four solo tackles, a forced fumble, and two pass breakups.

The 44-6 win over Austin College took Hendrix to 2-1 on the year. The Warriors remain on the road this weekend as they head back to Texas to take on Schreiner in a first-ever meeting between the two programs. Kick-off is set for 6:00 PM at Antler Stadium in Kerrville.
