Hendrix College Athletics

Bill Nutter, class of 1957, won 10 varsity letters in football, basketball, and track. He was an all-state AAU basketball performer and was AIC honorable mention in football and basketball. He is a former winner of the Frank Robins Award as the outstanding athlete at Conway High School. He had an outstanding track coaching career at Conway High, University of Central Arkansas, and North Carolina State. He was the Arkansas High School Track Coach of the Year in 1963 and was nominated for NAIA Track Coach of the Year in 1967.
