Hall of Honor
Connor Silvestri, a native of Conway, came to his hometown college in the fall of 2009, where he would enjoy a stellar four-year soccer career that ranks as one of the program’s all-time best. Silvestri is the all-time program leader in many significant statistical categories, including career points (103), goals (44) and points per game (1.45), and ranks second all-time in assists with 15. After tallying 33 points in his freshman campaign, he followed that up with a phenomenal 2010 season by scoring 15 goals while averaging 2.06 points per game and ending the season averaging just under one goal per game. For that, he was named All-SCAC 1st Team and NSCCA All-West Region Team. Silvestri would again earn All-SCAC and NSCCA All-West Region Team honors in 2011. In 2013, he earned the Hendrix Athletic Department’s highest honor by being selected as the Hendrix College Man of the Year.
His accolades on the field were matched by his academic successes. Silvestri was named a member of the Academic All-District Team by CoSIDA for the 2011-12 season. He graduated from Hendrix with a B.A. in Chemistry before obtaining his D.D.S. at the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry in Memphis. He currently resides in Fayetteville, where he practices dentistry at Family Dental Center.
