Hendrix College Athletics

So much can be said about Billy Schewee’s great career as a Hendrix College Warrior. Here are just a few of his accomplishments while playing Warrior baseball: He ranks fourth in Hendrix history in career batting average, third in the number of career hits, and second in runs batted in (RBIs). In 1999, his batting average of .412 ranked him fifth in school history, and that same year he ranked third in school history for the most RBIs in a single season.

Billy was selected First Team All-SCAC in 1999 and 2000. In 2001, he received an All-SCAC Honorable Mention. In 1999, he was selected for the Rawlings Sporting Goods All-West USA Regional Team.

Billy received the highly coveted Carl Babcock Award in 1999. His dedication and work ethnic were contagious, and to this day, reflecting the “Once a Warrior, Always a Warrior” mindset, he and his teammates still stay in close contact.
