Hendrix College Athletics

Kent Ritchey (’65) of Blytheville was recruited as one of the outstanding high school basketball players in the state. At Hendrix he was a four-year letterman who became one of the AIC’s finest guards as a unanimous Second Team All-AIC selection his junior year and a unanimous First Team All AIC selection his senior year. Ritchey led the Warriors to a final berth in the AIC Tournament his senior year. He shot over 55 percent from the field his last two years and was known for his all-around play.
