Hendrix College Athletics

The late Thomas Wendell Jackson (Class of 1938) of Nashville, Ark. was considered a “giant” for the Warriors as a 6-2, 200 lb. fullback and place-kicker during his four seasons. He was named to the All-State Team and received Honorable Mention honors on the Associated Press Little All-American Football Team his senior year, the only Hendrix athlete to be recognized as a Little All-American. Jackson also lettered three years in track, throwing the discus and shot.
