Hendrix College Athletics

Clark Sims remained in central Arkansas after graduating from North Little Rock High School and etched his name into the Hendrix baseball history after a stellar four-year career.

Sims was a four-time All-SCAC selection, including a 2012 All-SCAC first team selection in his senior season. That same year, he was named to D3baseball.com’s All-West Region team and to the Natural State Baseball All-Arkansas first team. In 2011, Sims was selected to the ABCA/Rawlings All-West Region team. Sims was also named to the SCAC All-Tournament team in 2011 and in 2009 when the Warriors won the SCAC tournament. Along with his athletic ability, Sims was the consummate teammate, evidenced by his four selections to the SCAC All-Sportsmanship team.

Off the field, Sims was a three-time SCAC Academic Honor Roll selection and was named CoSIDA Academic All-District in his senior season.

Sims currently resides in North Little Rock with his wife, Kimmie, and their three children, Raney, Jack, and Ruthie.
