Hendrix College Athletics

Wright “Mony” Salter, class of ’28, won four letters in football, two letters in track, and two letters in baseball. In football, he helped his team to a 2nd place finish in the state championship and was twice named to the collegiate All-State team. In track, Salter set a state record for the 220-yard low hurdles.
