Hall of Honor
Elizabeth Krug came to Hendrix College from Heber Springs in the fall of 2010 and left as one of the most decorated student-athletes in school history.
She graduated from Hendrix holding twenty program records after a phenomenal four-year run in which she was named a five-time NCAA Division III All-American. In 2013, Krug won the NCAA Division III Heptathlon and was named an NCAA Division III Pentathlon All-American. Her 2013 performance in the heptathlon ranks 7th all-time in the history of NCAA Division III.
She was the Southern Athletic Association (SAA) Women's Field Athlete of the Year in 2013 and 2014, and 2012 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) Women's Athlete of the Meet. Krug still holds records in six running events and four field events -- Indoor 200m, 400m, 800m, 55m hurdles, 60m hurdles, Long Jump and Heptathlon/Pentathlon and the Outdoor 200m, Long Jump, and Pole Vault.
Following graduation, she attended Arkansas State and was named to the Sun Belt All-Conference team in the pentathlon in 2015. She would go on to receive her Master's in Education Leadership in 2017 from St. Lawrence University.
Krug currently serves as the Association Head Track & Field Coach at St. Norbert College in De Pere, Wisconsin where she resides with her husband, Don, and their two children, Winston and Adeline.
