Hendrix College Athletics

Holly L. Larkin, class of ’94, entered the Hendrix Sports Hall of Honor as the first athlete inducted from the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference era. Larkin earned nine letters in four sports - volleyball, track, basketball, and cross country. In 1993, the first year for women’s basketball at Hendrix, Larkin led the conference in scoring with 417 points and was fifth in rebounding and free throw percentage. Also in 1993, she was selected to the All-SCAC first team in track & field. At the end of her senior year, she was selected as the NCAA Woman of the Year for Hendrix College and also received the Carl Babcock Award for leadership in athletics.
