During her four years at Hendrix, Sara Frysinger Watkins was an All-American on the swim team, setting school records and competing at NAIA Nationals.Â
She was born in Lima, Ohio, but moved with her family to Plano, Texas at age 13. She swam throughout her years in Plano, both for Plano Senior High School and the City of Plano Swimmers competitive team.
After graduating from Hendrix, Watkins went on to earn a Master of Occupational Therapy degree from Texas Women's University. She has been a professional caregiver throughout her career, working as an occupational therapist in numerous healthcare enviroments such as acute care, outpaitent care, and home health care settings. She currently lives in McKinney, Texas, where she works as an occupational therapist and rehab manager for Rehab Pro. She is a proud mother of two childern, Emilie and Ethan.
